The Heide-Büsum airfield is an airfield in the municipality of Oesterdeichstrich between Büsum and Heide in Schleswig-Holstein .
The only scheduled flight connection is operated by the airline OFD Ostfriesischer Flugdienst up to four times a day to Heligoland . The 5 Britten Norman Islanders of the OFD with space for up to 8 passengers are mostly used on this route . A waiting room has been set up in the terminal for OFD travelers. Bicycles can also be rented at the airport.
The airfield is approved for aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 5700 kg as well as gliders and ultralight aircraft. You can fill up with AVGAS 100LL, Diesel and Super Plus.
