The Fehmarn-Neujellingsdorf airfield is a special airfield without any permanent buildings. Private small planes may take off and land after consultation with the airport operator. The runway of the airfield, which is located on the Schleswig-Holstein Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn, is 590 meters long.

The main purpose of the airfield are the island flights that take place there, which are particularly popular with tourists and locals during the heyday of rapeseed in May. Occasionally, the films for the Burg-Filmtheater, the island's cinema, are also delivered here by air.
