Gunther Wolf (historian)
Gunther Wolf (born March 10, 1930 in Karlsruhe ) is a German historian.
Life
After graduating from high school in 1949, he studied history , German and classical philology in Heidelberg and Paris . He did his doctorate in 1955 under Fritz Ernst . His research focus is on the Ottonians and Staufers .
