Gustav Adelbert Seyler

Gustav Adelbert Seyler (born March 19, 1846 in Willmars , † March 19, 1935 in Berlin ) was a German (Prussian) local politician, librarian and heraldist .

His work in the field of heraldry was groundbreaking and fundamental. The scientific heraldry found its expression in eight volumes while working on the New Sieve Maker.

After being reburied in 1939, his grave is in the south-west cemetery in Stahnsdorf . A street is named after him in the Berlin district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf .
