Gustav Adolph Bock Hammer (* 13. January 1824 in Blaubeuren , † 23. April 1882 in Urach ) was a württembergischer upper office man .

Life

Gustav Adolph Bockshammer's father was a dean and pastor. After graduating from high school, he did an internship at the camera office in Ulm from 1840 to 1841. He then studied from 1841 to 1846, the first and second higher service examinations at the Department of the Interior followed. Bockshammer began his professional career in 1848 as an actuary administrator at the Oberamt Künzelsau . From 1849 to 1850 he was an actuary at the Oberamt Tuttlingen . In 1850 Gustav Adolph Bockshammer resigned from the civil service due to physical ailments and stayed in America until 1856. In 1856 he resumed work as an actuary administrator at the Urach Regional Office and the Stuttgart Regional Office. From 1857 to 1863 he was an actuary at the Oberamt Ellwangen and from 1863 to 1867 secretary at the Stuttgart city office. From 1867 to 1872 he headed the Oberamt Spaichingen and from 1872 to 1882 the Oberamt Urach .

In 1876 Gustav Adolph Bockshammer received the Knight's Cross 1st Class of the Order of Frederick , and he was honored with the war commemorative coin for combatants and non-combatants.
