Gustav Behrend
Gustav Behrend (born January 10, 1847 in Neustettin ; † 1925 ) was a German medic . He has emerged as an author in the fields of dermatology and syphilidology .
Behrend studied medicine in Berlin from 1867 , where he became a Dr. med. received his doctorate. From 1872 he worked as a doctor in Berlin.
In 1881 he completed his habilitation and then gave lectures. In 1897 he was appointed professor.
Behrend published numerous medical writings, including the textbook on skin diseases (1883).
