Gustav Eduard Nolte (politician, 1850)

Gustav Eduard Nolte (born August 30, 1850 in Hamburg; † October 7, 1912 there ) was a German lawyer and member of the Hamburg parliament .

Life

Nolte attended the learned school of the Johanneum and voluntarily participated in the Franco-German War of 1870/71 as a soldier in the infantry regiment "Hamburg" (2nd Hanseatic) No. 76 . He received his doctorate in Göttingen in 1873 . On March 4, 1874, Nolte was enrolled as a lawyer in Hamburg . He associated himself with Johann Otto Stammann , and was admitted to the bar until his death. Nolte worked as an in-house counsel for the Norddeutsche Bank and for the Anglo-Continentale Guano-Werke . He was a member of the supervisory boards of Albingia Versicherungs AG , Hamburg-Mannheimer Versicherungs-AG , the insurance company of 1873 and the Hamburg insurance company .

Nolte was a member of the Hamburg parliament from 1886 to 1898, and he joined the right-wing parliamentary group .

family

Nolte's parents were the bookseller Gustav Eduard Nolte (1812–1885) and Minna Geffcken (1823–1886), a daughter of Heinrich Geffcken . He himself married Gertrud Laura Mutzenbecher (1857–1909) in 1880 , a daughter of the insurance company founder Hermann Mutzenbecher (1819–1906).
