Gustav Möller

Frits Gustav Möller (born June 6, 1884 in Malmö , † August 15, 1970 in Bromma ) was a Swedish politician and a leading member of the Swedish Social Democratic Party .

Career in politics

Möller shaped Swedish politics primarily through his many years of office as Minister of Social Affairs. He was a member of the Swedish Reichstag from 1918 to 1954 and Minister of Social Affairs in 1924–1926, 1932–1936, 1936–1938 and 1939–1951, and Minister of Commerce from 1938 to 1939. He was also party secretary of the Swedish Social Democratic Party from 1916 to 1940.

Private

In 1926 he married Else Kleen . His parents were Ola († 1884) and Anna Möller († 1898).
