Gustav Moritz Hallbauer

Gustav Moritz Hallbauer (born May 31, 1808 in Rochlitz ; † June 6, 1887 in Meißen ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Hallbauer studied law at the University of Leipzig from 1826 to 1830 . Afterwards he was a lawyer and financial procurator in Meissen.

From November 23, 1848 to May 13, 1849 he was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly for the Kingdom of Saxony in Meißen in the Deutscher Hof faction , later Westendhall .

Hallbauer had been a member of the city council in Meißen since 1841 and a member of the German Association there. In June 1849 he was a participant in the Gotha post-parliament .
