Gustav Nordquist

Gustav Olof Nordquist (born April 30, 1866 in Berlin , † April 30, 1944 in Hamburg ) was a German bank director .

Nordquist attended the Königliche Realgymnasium Berlin and then completed an apprenticeship at the banking house Braun & Co. He then worked for the Disconto-Gesellschaft Berlin from 1885 . When this merged with the Norddeutsche Bank in Hamburg in 1895 , which, however, remained largely independent, he became the latter's authorized signatory . In 1907 he moved from there as a member of the board of the Vereinsbank Hamburg . He stayed there until he retired in 1929 .

He was also a member of various supervisory boards .
