Gustav Rauterberg

Gustav Rauterberg (born August 3, 1892 in Lauenau , † March 16, 1972 in Popens ) was a Protestant clergyman and author.

Life

Rauterberg studied Protestant theology and was ordained on February 29, 1920 in Oldenburg. After serving as an assistant pastor, he became pastor in Blexen in 1922 , in 1925 in Bardewisch and in 1929 chaplain at the Wohlau Provincial Education Institute in Silesia. In 1933 he returned to the community service as a pastor in Rebenstorf. He retired on August 1, 1955.

As an author, Rauterberg dealt with the history of the Inner Mission , especially in Silesia .
