Geographical location

The desert Torfhäusl is about four kilometers northeast of Eslarn near the German-Czech border on the western edge of the Peat Flea, an extensive wetland.

The neighboring towns of Torfhäusl are Pfrentschweiher in the northwest and Öd and Büchelberg in the southwest .
