Heckermühle is a district of the Eslarn market in the Upper Palatinate district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab .

Geographical location

The Einöde Heckermühle is located at the foot of the Heckermühlberg about two kilometers south of Eslarn. It is located at the confluence of the Lohgraben and Ödbach to the Loisbach , which flows through Eslarn and flows into the Pfreimd about 20 km further northwest at the Hechtlmühle .

The sources of the Ödbach arise on the slopes of the Stangenberg and the Stückberg. The Lohgraben rises in a wetland near Passenrieth .

The neighboring towns of Heckermühle are Eslarn in the north, Ödmeiersrieth in the south-east, Premhof in the south and Gmeinsrieth in the south-west .

As of March 23, 1913 (Easter), Heckermühle was listed as part of the Eslarn parish with one house and 6 residents. On December 31, 1990, the Heckermühle was uninhabited and belonged to the parish of Eslarn.
