Lindauer Waldhaus is a district of the Eslarn market in the Upper Palatinate district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab .

Geographical location

The wasteland of Lindauer Waldhaus is about five kilometers south of Eslarn on the eastern slope of the Stückberg on state road 2154 .

The neighboring towns of Lindauer Waldhaus are Gerstbräu in the north and Stückhäusl in the south .

history

In 1866 the Lindau Waldhaus was re-parished from Eslarn to Schönsee. On December 31, 1990, Lindauer Waldhaus was uninhabited and belonged to the parish of Schönsee.

Lindau Forest House Wildlife Park

Culture and sights

Until the end of the 20th century there was a ski lift in Lindauer Waldhaus. The slope, which is now slowly growing over, can still be clearly seen. Opposite the Lindauer Waldhaus is a wildlife park with a children's playground, nature trail, wild boars, an elk and other wild animals.
