The piece mountain is 808.6 m above sea level. NHN high mountain of the Upper Palatinate Forest in the municipality of Eslarns in the Upper Palatinate district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab , Bavaria . It is located west of State Road 2154 from Schönsee to Eslarn.
On its summit is the 32 m high Stückberg Tower, built in 1974, a lookout tower with a panoramic view of the extensive forests in the area. The starting point for a one-hour hike to the Stückberg summit is the parking lot at the Eslarn wildlife park on state road 2154, about 5 km north of Schönsee. On the southern flank of the mountain, close to the summit, there is the Stückstein rock formation, which is designated as a natural monument .
