Roßtränk is a district of the Eslarn market in the Upper Palatinate district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab .

Geographical location

Roßtränk is located around 3 km west of Eslarn on the eastern edge of an extensive forest area in a north-south direction. The neighboring towns are in the north of plaster Rieth , east Eslarn, south Adjust Rieth and west Rage meadow .

history

From the year 1556 it is reported that the farmers of Roßtränk refused the tithe to the former Catholic, but now converted to the Lutheran confession, pastor Jakob Kuchenreuther .

In 1628 Roßtränk had 3 farms, 4 estates and 1 hut and paid 16 guilders 57 3/4 kreuzer annual tax.

After the Thirty Years' War Roßtränk had eight households.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Roßtränk was listed as part of the Eslarn parish with 8 houses and 45 inhabitants. On December 31, 1990 Roßtränk had 25 residents and belonged to the parish of Eslarn.
