Gustav Schulz

Gustav Hermann Adolf Schulz (born July 1, 1807 in Wetter (Ruhr) , † July 19, 1874 in Herford ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

Life

Gustav Schulz studied law at the Universities of Bonn , Berlin and Giessen . In 1830 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Bonn . After completing his studies, he became an auscultator in 1831 and a higher regional court assessor in 1834. In 1835 he came to Bilstein as a judicial officer and in 1836 as a judicial officer to Berleburg . In 1835 he was appointed regional and city court director in Burgsteinfurt and in 1847 moved to Schwelm in the same position . In 1850 he was appointed district court director in Hagen and in 1853 in Herford.

From 1860 to 1866 and from 1873 to his death in 1874, Schulz sat as a member of the Minden 2 constituency (Herford, Halle in Westphalia, Bielefeld) in the Prussian House of Representatives . From 1860 to 1861 he belonged to the faction of Vincke, from 1862 to 1866 of the faction of the Left Center and from 1873 to 1874 of the faction of the National Liberal Party .
