Gustav Schulze , called Galopp-Schulze , (born September 4, 1880 in Trebbin ; † November 1, 1968 ) was a German racing cyclist .

In 1903 Gustav Schulze, who started for the RV Fidelitas Trebbin , competed in his first bike race at Rund um Berlin and finished in 15th place. In 1909 he won this amateurs race over 150 miles with 9 hours, 12 minutes and 13 seconds. In 1910 he won Rund um die Hainleite and in 1912 Berlin – Cottbus – Berlin . In Quer durch Deutschland 1911 , a previous race of the Tour of Germany, he came in sixth overall. In the same year he was third in the distance bike ride Vienna – Berlin over 598.1 kilometers.

Schulze was a trained master wheelwright . His nickname in cycling circles was "Galopp-Schulze". In November 1968 he died of a fracture in the femur .
