Gustaw Adolf Gebethner (born January 3, 1831 in Warsaw ; died September 18, 1901 there ) was a Polish bookseller and publisher.

Gustaw Adolf Gebethner was the son of Wilhelm Gebethner and Julianna Ritz. He came from a German-born Warsaw family. Together with August Robert Wolff , he founded a bookstore and publisher called Gebethner und Wolff in 1857, with offices across the country as well as in Paris and New York City . The company was famous for editions of Polish folk and musical literature. The company existed until 1951 (the second-hand bookshop was closed in 1961).

Gebethner was buried in the Evangelical Augsburg Cemetery in Warsaw. His great-grandson is Stanisław Gebethner , a lawyer and political scientist.
