Gut Obergedern
The Good Oberg springs is a farm and country estate with a small private park in the southeast of the city Witten in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is located on the edge of the Ruhraue in the Gedern district (district and district Annen ) and lies on the western slope of the Arenberg , a wooded ridge in the Ardey Mountains .
history
As a feudal estate of the Lords of Volmarstein Castle , the court was given to their liege Dietrich III in 1351 . transferred by Mallinckrodt . The farm was called Middeldorpshof , later named after its owners Pampus and Rüping and remained taxable across from the neighboring Mallinckrodt house .
From 1950 the farm belonged to the Zimmermann family. In 2006, an organic farm acquired the farm and has been managing it ever since.
