Guyuan (Zhangjiakou)

Guyuan ( Chinese  沽源 县 , Pinyin Gūyuán Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Zhangjiakou in the Chinese province of Hebei . It has an area of ​​3,601 square kilometers and a population of 230,000. Its main town is the large community of Pingdingbu (平定 堡镇).

The tomb in Shuzhuanglou from the time of the Mongol dynasty (Shuzhuanglou Yuan mu 梳妆 楼 元 墓), the Jiuliancheng site (Jiuliancheng yizhi 九 连 城城 址) from the time of the Jurchen to Mongol dynasty and the Xiaohongcheng y site (Xiaohongcheng小 宏城 遗址) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
