Gyula Gál [ ˈɟulɒ ˈɡaːl ] (born August 18, 1976 in Várpalota , Hungary ) is a former Hungarian handball player . The 1.93 meter tall and 115 kilogram heavy Gál was deployed in the rotary position.

Gyual Gál last played for the Hungarian club Tatabánya KC since February 2012 . Before that, he had been under contract with the Croatian club RK Zagreb since the beginning of 2010 . In his home country he played for the clubs KC Veszprém (from 2001) and Dunaferr SE .

For the Hungarian national team Gál played 180 international matches in which he scored 442 goals. At the 2004 Olympics , he lost the bronze medal match against Russia 26:28.
