Gyula Gyenes

Gyula Gyenes (born February 20, 1911 in Budapest ; † June 26, 1988 ibid.) Was a Hungarian sprinter .

In 1934 he won silver in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the European Athletics Championships in Turin with the Hungarian team .

At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 he reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and 200 m . In the 4 x 100 meter relay , he was eliminated in the preliminary run.

In 1938 he was fifth over 200 m and sixth in the 4-by-400-meter relay at the European Championships in Paris . Over 100 m he was eliminated in the semifinals and in the 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary round.
