Hà Thị Thu (born July 29, 1997 ) is a Vietnamese sprinter .

Athletic career

Hà Thị Thu gained her first international experience at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore , where she won the silver medal behind the team from Thailand with the Vietnamese 4 x 100 meter relay in 44.77 seconds. Two years later, she took part in the Summer Universiade in Taipei , where she reached the quarter-finals in the 100-meter run , in which she then no longer started. In 2018 she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time , where she finished seventh with the relay in 45.42 seconds. In 2019 she finished sixth at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in 24.44 s over 200 meters and was eliminated over 100 meters with 12.09 s in the lead. In addition, she won the bronze medal behind the teams from Thailand and the Philippines in 45.17 s with the relay.

In 2017 and 2019, Hà was Vietnamese champion with the 4-by-200-meter relay and in 2019 also in the 4-by-100-meter relay. She is a student at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports .
