Dominik Blunschy (born October 27, 1987 in Schwyz ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ).

Life

Blunschy is the grandson of the former President of the National Council Elisabeth Blunschy . He completed a bachelor's and master's degree in computer science at the ETH Zurich and works as a freelance software engineer .

In the cantonal elections on March 20, 2016, Blunschy was elected to the Schwyz Cantonal Council with 1,397 votes for the Schwyz constituency. There he is a member of the Commission for Education and Culture. He is also a member of the board and international secretary of the Young CVP Switzerland .

Between 2008 and 2019 he was a board member of the Junge CVP Kanton Schwyz for 11 years, 7 years of which as president.
