Håkan Nordbäck (born February 23, 1969 ) is a former Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Nordbäck, who started for the IFK Mora SK , ran his first of a total of 47 in the World Cup individual race in March 1994 in Falun and finished in 50th place over 30 km classic. In November 1994 he got his first World Cup points in Kiruna with the 11th place over 10 km classic. The following year he became Swedish champion with the relay of IFK Mora SK together with Tomas Andersson and Staffan Larsson . In the 1995/96 season he came eight times in the points in the World Cup and achieved his best overall result with 33rd place in the overall World Cup. In January 1997 he achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in Lahti together with Magnus Ingesson in the team sprint. In the 1999/2000 season he finished 34th in the overall World Cup. He came under the top ten four times and achieved in Nové Město with the sixth place over 15 km classic his best placement in the World Cup individual. He also finished second in the relay in Davos . He completed his last World Cup races in November 2002 in Kiruna, which he finished in 39th place over 10 km freestyle and tenth place with the relay.
