The Hålisstonga ( Norwegian for black ice post ) is a 2780 m high mountain in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In the Orvinfjella it rises at the southern end of the Kurzegebirge .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the mountain, mapped it using aerial photographs and measurements made by the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
