Hélène Goudin

Hélène Goudin (born November 25, 1956 in Brussels , Belgium ) is a Swedish politician. Goudin was a member of the European Parliament for the Junilistan party from 2004 to 2009 and was a member of the Independence and Democracy Group .

Hélène Goudin worked in the travel and tourism industry from 1978 and between 1979 and 1982 was a receptionist and business economist for a tourism company. Afterwards she worked in municipal adult education in 1992 and trained as a teacher for the 1st to 9th grade between 1993 and 1996. After completing her training, Goudin was employed as a teacher for the 1st to 9th school year from 1997 and 2004.

Goudin was Deputy Chairwoman of the Environment and Building Committee and a member of the board of the local branch of the Social Democratic Party (SAP). She was a member of the SAP Advisory Council from 1990 to 2002 and was a local ombudsman. In addition, from 2000 to 2004 she was the safety officer in the National Association of Teachers as well as the main safety officer of the elementary and middle schools in Piteå .
