The Hôtel de Chanlas in Schlettstadt , a French town in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region , was built in the first half of the 18th century. The Hôtel particulier on No. 1 rue des Franciscains has been classified as a Monument historique since 1983 .

history

The Hôtel de Chanlas was named after François Anne de Bazin, baron de Chanlas. While the main building was erected in the first half of the 18th century, the outbuildings, i.e. H. the barn and the horse stable u. a., built at the end of the 18th or 19th century.

description

The corps de logis consists of broken stone and brick . The two-storey building has a round arched portal that is framed by pilasters . Round arches on the courtyard side support the balcony. The stone staircase inside is bordered by balusters .
