Hotel de Ville (Selestat)
The Hôtel de Ville (dt. Town hall) in Schlettstadt , a French city in the Bas-Rhin in the region Alsace , was built in 1787/88. The Hôtel de Ville at No. 9 place d'Armes has been classified as a Monument historique since 1937 .
history
The two-storey building made of red sandstone was built according to plans by the city builder Joseph-Ignace Gouget. The previous building from 1425/26 was demolished in 1779. The representative entrance with four pillars is remarkable.
