The Hôtel de la Bessière in Bar-le-Duc , a French town in the Meuse department in Lorraine , was built at the end of the 16th century. The Hôtel particulier at 47 Rue des Ducs-de-Bar was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1993 as a Monument historique .

The facade of the two-story city palace in the style of the Renaissance , with pilasters , the capitals have decorated.

The writer Georges Bernanos lived in the house from 1924 to 1926 , where he wrote his first novel Sous le Soleil de Satan .
