Höhe , also Luhnsfelder Höhe , is a locality in the district of Ronsdorf in the Bergisch city of Wuppertal in North Rhine-Westphalia / Germany .
Location and description
The local situation is in the residential district Ronsdorf-Central / North on the road Luhnsfelder height south of the Hofschaft Hucke Bach and west of Ronsdorfer town center, on the watershed between the Leyerbach and Gelpe . In addition to Huckenbach, neighboring locations are the places and residential areas Monschau , Sonnenschein and Holthausen . The original settlement core is now part of the residential development along the street.

On the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 the place is labeled with Höhe and on the Prussian first survey from 1843 with Auf der Höhe .
In 1832, Höhe belonged to the Holthauser Rotte in the rural outskirts of the city of Ronsdorf . The place, which was categorized as individual houses according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had two residential buildings and an agricultural building at the time. At that time 19 people lived in the village, all of them Protestant faith. In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province from 1888, four houses with 59 inhabitants are given.
