The house Hölle 10 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It's located east of the city's market square and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. To the east of the house is adjacent to Hell 9 , which is also a listed building .

Architecture and history

For the two-storey half - timbered house , a construction time around 1760 is given in the monument register. Dendrochronological investigations, however, suggest that the origin was essentially much earlier, around 1400. The facade of the house follows the course of the street in an arch. In compartments there are remains of decorative lining. During the 19th century the building was renovated. Windows in particular date from this period. The front door dates from the beginning of the 19th century and has a skylight in the neo-Gothic style .

At the beginning of the 21st century, the house and the various outbuildings belonging to the property were renovated.
