The house Hölle 3 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the urban area west of the market square in the historic Quedlinburg old town at the confluence of Straße Hölle and Straße Stieg and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site .

Architecture and history

The half-timbered house was built around 1560 and is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building. The half-timbered facade is lavishly decorated with carvings. There are fan rosettes , pentagrams and ship throats . The ground floor of the building was rebuilt in the 18th century. Windows and doors date from the second half of the 20th century. Other data mention the 19th century.

The building was renovated in 2002 by the qbatur architects' office and the art historian James Dennis.
