HC Andersen Marathon
The HC Andersen Marathon is a marathon in the Danish city of Odense that has been running since 2000. With over 1000 marathon runners and a men's course record of 2:10:37 hours, it is one of the fastest and most participant marathon competitions in Scandinavia. A half marathon has been part of the program since 2006 and "run the last 10Km" since 2017.

The race is on a circular course that the half marathon runners master once and the marathon runners twice. The start is in Odense Idrætspark; From there it goes first to the north of the city, then southwards past HC Andersens Hus on a loop through the center and after a short detour on the right bank of Odense Å back to the starting point, where the finish is in the Odense athletic stadium .
