Karina Szymańska

Karina Szymańska ( Karina Szymańska-Wiśniewska ; born January 16, 1975 ) is a Polish marathon runner .

In 1998 she won the Warsaw Marathon . The following year she was fourth in the Rome Marathon and won the Regensburg Marathon . She holds the course records at the Wachau Marathon , which she won three times in a row from 2000 to 2002, at the South Tyrol Marathon , where she won in 2000 and 2001, and at the Steinfurt Marathon , which she won in 2003.

She achieved further victories at the HC Andersen Marathon ( Odense , Denmark ) in 2002 with her best time of 2:33:20 and at the premiere of the Zurich Marathon in 2003.
