The Odense Å is a flowing water in Denmark and has a length of about 60 kilometers. It runs through the city of Odense and is Funen 's longest watercourse. It rises from the Arreskov Sø northeast of Faaborg and flows into the Odense Fjord at Seden Strand , near the Odense Canal . Its catchment area covers about 550 km 2 , the water level fluctuates strongly with the seasons.
Odense Å regatta
The so-called Odense Å Regatta is held annually on the river . Here teams compete against each other with self-made boats of all kinds of constructions.
