The BHAK and BHAS Neunkirchen is a federal trade academy and federal trade school in the municipality of Neunkirchen in the Neunkirchen district in Lower Austria .

history

The BHAK Neunkirchen was founded on September 1, 1975 as a branch of the commercial academy and commercial school Wiener Neustadt at the former location in Fabriksgasse 8. Two years later, on September 1, 1977, the school became independent under the direction of Hans Fleischmann. In the following school year 1978/79, the school moved to the new school building at Schillergasse 10.

Training offer

In addition to the commercial school, the school offers two main training areas for the HAK and an advanced course :

Industrial Business HAK

The Industrial Business HAK training focus focuses on business and technology and builds up the skills that are essential in future industry. The classes are supported by experts from industrial practice.

Practice HAK

This training path corresponds to a practice-oriented commercial training with the help of so-called "class sponsors", here companies from the economy accompany the classes and advise the students. Practice-oriented teaching is accomplished through work in practice firms (ÜFAs). Most of the school's practice firms are certified by the ACT exercise firm headquarters. Students have the opportunity to specialize between two subjects:

  • Information and communication technology, e-business
  • Management, controlling and accounting

As an additional foreign language besides English , students can choose either French or Italian .

Advanced course

People who have successfully completed a commercial school or a preparatory course in the commercial sector have the opportunity to complete a maturity and diploma examination ( Matura ) with the three-year advanced course . The AUL training focus is on logistics management .

Others

The school is a partner of the Institute for Business Education at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the COOL impulse school, an experimental school for school development in the commercial school sector.

The BHAK offers around 140 computer workstations in 5 IT halls, and from the 3rd HAK year onwards, laptop classes are held, where around 120 networked workstations are available.

In 2010 the school was nominated for the Austrian School Prize.

In 2015 the BHAK Neunkirchen was certified as an entrepreneurship school .
