HD 147506 , also known as HAT-P-2 , is a star of spectral class F8, approximately 400 light-years from Earth, with an apparent magnitude of 8.7 mag. In 2007, the HATNet project announced the discovery of an exoplanet around this star: HAT-P-2b .
