HD 12661 b is an exoplanet that orbits the yellow dwarf HD 12661 every 262.53 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .
discovery
The planet was determined using the radial velocity method by Debra Fischer et al. discovered in 2000 .
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 0.831 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 743.9 Earth masses or 2.34 Jupiter masses.
