HD 12661 c is an exoplanet that orbits the yellow dwarf HD 12661 every 1679 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .

discovery

The planet was determined using the radial velocity method by Debra Fischer et al. discovered in 2002 .

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 2.86 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 581.8 Earth masses or 1.83 Jupiter masses.
