HD 231701 is a main sequence star of the spectral class F8 in the constellation Sagitta, about 350 light years from Earth . It has an apparent magnitude of 9.0 mag. In 2006 Debra Fischer discovered an extrasolar planet orbiting this star: HD 231701 b .
