HD 74156 b is an exoplanet that accompanies the yellow dwarf HD 74156 . Due to its mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .
discovery
The planet was determined using the radial velocity method by Dominique Naef et al. discovered in 2001 .
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star every 51.65 days at a distance of approx. 0.29 astronomical units with an eccentricity of 0.64 and has a minimum mass of approx. 1.9 Jupiter's masses.
