The HSBC Global Asset Management (Germany) GmbH is an asset manager based in Dusseldorf and a 100% owned subsidiary of HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt . For HSBC , HSBC Global Asset Management (Deutschland) GmbH is responsible for asset management activities in the German-speaking markets ( Germany , Switzerland and Austria ) and Eastern Europe.

The company is the central platform for asset management solutions within the HSBC Group. There is close cooperation with the investment specialists Halbis Capital Management , Sinopia Asset Management , HSBC Liquidity and HSBC Multimanager, which are part of the group .

Halbis Capital Management (Halbis) is an active, fundamentally oriented investment specialist. The company was founded in 2005 and has more than 160 employees in Hong Kong , London , New York , Paris , São Paulo and Singapore .

- Sinopia Asset Management Sinopia Asset Management (Sinopia) is an active, quantitatively oriented investment specialist. The company was founded in 1989 and has more than 75 employees in Paris, London, Hong Kong and New York.

- HSBC Liquidity HSBC Liquidity is a provider of “AAA” -type money market funds in different currencies. The division was established in 1990 and has more than 100 employees in New York, Paris, Hong Kong, Canada and Bermuda .

- HSBC multimanager

HSBC Multimanager specializes in the selection of external managers. The division was established in 1999 and has more than 50 portfolio managers and analysts in eleven locations, such as New York, London, Hong Kong, Toronto and São Paulo.

Clientele and services

HSBC Global Asset Management (Deutschland) GmbH's clientele includes financial intermediaries, institutional clients and corporate clients.

The company develops investment solutions for its customers' investments. The sub-segments are covered either by the investment specialists belonging to the HSBC Global Asset Management group or by external managers, as required.

The funds managed by HSBC Global Asset Management (Deutschland) GmbH are regularly managed in Germany by Internationale Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH (INKA) , as well as by HSBC Trinkaus Investment Managers SA and HSBC Global Investment Funds SICAV in Luxembourg.
