Haageocereus pluriflorus is a species of plant in the genus Haageocereus from the cactus family(Cactaceae). The specific epithet is derived from the Latin words pluri for 'many' and florus for 'bloody' and refers to the numerous flowers.

Haageocereus pluriflorus growing shrubby with from the base of branched stems and reaches stature heights of up to 80 centimeters. The cylindrical, light gray-green shoots reach a diameter of up to 10 centimeters. There are eight to 13 ribs . The yellowish thorns have a darker tip. The one or two central spines are directed downwards and up to 6 inches long. The up to 15 frosted radial spines have a length of up to 8 millimeters.
The creamy white flowers reach a length of up to 12 centimeters and have a diameter of 4.5 centimeters.
Distribution and systematics
Haageocereus pluriflorus is common in Peru in the Arequipa region in the valley of the Río Majes .
It was first described in 1957 by Werner Rauh and Curt Backeberg . A synonym is Haageocereus platinospinus var. Pluriflorus (Rauh & Backeb.) F. Ritter (1981).
