The Haardtrand - Am Heidelberg nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the urban district Neustadt an der Weinstrasse in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The 20.11 ha area, which was placed under nature protection by ordinance of April 21, 1992 , extends on the western outskirts of Hambach an der Weinstrasse , a district of Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. State road L 512 runs not far to the east .

The area includes vineyards, fruit plots, shrubbery and fringing biotopes , forest and forest edge areas, dry stone walls and vineyard terraces .
