reception
The mixtape received mixed reviews.
Thomas Haas from the Laut.de e-zine awards three out of five stars and tends to judge positively: Nimo presents himself with his debut mixtape "remarkably self-reflective" . The sound image is "anything but coherent, but the outliers burn themselves straight up in the memory." He sums up: "The approaches are correct."
The reviewer from the hip-hop magazine Backspin awards 9 out of 10 points and gives a mostly positive assessment : Nimo manages to "tear everything apart in terms of flow" and to play "just as naturally with his voice" . Nevertheless, with 23 titles, it was “a little too long” .
From the perspective of the Juice editor , Nimo presents himself as an “excellent rapper” . But it would get more difficult from track to track "to get a clear picture" . So the "numerous good ideas" would get lost in the total number of titles.
Louis Richter from the hip-hop blog rap.de shares this assessment and writes that the individual songs are “varied” , but the total playing time is “a bit long” .
