Ernst Haberbier
Ernst Haberbier (actually Jean Henri Ernest Haberbier , born October 5, 1813 in Königsberg , † March 12, 1869 in Bergen , Norway ) was a German pianist and composer .
Life
Haberbier received piano lessons from his father. At the age of 19 he moved to Saint Petersburg , where he made a name for himself as a concert pianist. In 1847 he was appointed Imperial - Russian appointed Court Pianist. He spent the last years of his life in Bergen .
He mainly wrote piano pieces ( Etudes poésies, etc.) and went on numerous concert tours.
