Hackenow is an inhabited part of the municipality of Alt Tucheband and is located in the Oderbruch . Official business is carried out by the Golzow Office.

history

The first documentary mention in 1405 speaks of a desolate village Hackenow , which was owned by the von Schapelow family. From 1430 to 1480 Hackenow was owned by the von Pfuel family . After that the Order of St. John was the owner of the place. Hackenow belonged to the Lietzen Commandery and was rebuilt as a Vorwerk during this time .

In 1928 the Hackenow estate was merged with Alt Tucheband. In 1929 the place is officially approved as a district.
