Anjali Khanna (Ritu) and Sanjay Khanna are married. You want to get a divorce. The judge orders them to prove within a month that one is cheating on the other, only then can they get a divorce. Anjali sends her friend of the same name Anjali Khanna (Rani Mukerji) to Europe, so that her husband thinks his wife is in another country and would indulge in their affairs.
